Introduction

The current project Linux System Programming is a joint initiative of Burgas Free University and IBA Bulgaria, as an additional resource to the free course Linux System Programming. The textbook is available for free reading in the form of electronic book. Learning resources are available for free download from electronic repository. All materials are distributed under license CC-BY-NC-SA.

Author

Dimitar Minchev is a associated professor at the Faculty for Informatics and Technical Sciences at Burgas Free University. Prepares students for the Republican Student Olympiad in Programming in the Competitive Programming Club. Organizes a competition for the development of desktop and mobile applications HACKATHON @ BFU. He created the unique Academy for Talents in Programming and School of Robotics for students from Burgas. Initiates the student programming competition CODE@BURGAS. Participates in the national program IT Skills and Career Training of the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science.
